Reading the account summary

Type and platform

The account list may show account type and platform, such as MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5.

Leverage and currency

Leverage settings and account currency may also be displayed, depending on the account configuration.

Balance, credit and equity

Balance generally reflects realised account funds. Credit can show applicable promotional or account credit. Equity changes with open profit and loss.

Margin information

Margin-related figures can help users understand how much account equity is supporting open positions. The exact fields shown depend on the platform and account state.
